As many as 18 medallists from the World Championships in Beijing, which finished on Sunday, will appear at the 65th Zagreb Meeting! There are four world champions, five silver medallists and nine bronze medallists on the start lists.
The following events will feature current world champions: the 110m hurdles Boris Hanžeković Memorial Race (Sergey Shubenkov) and the high jump (Mariya Kuchina), while former world record holder in the 100m Asafa Powell and great Jamaican runner in the 400m Novlene Williams-Mills are coming to Zagreb with gold medals from the relay races.

The Ivan Ivančić Memorial shot put event will take place by the Zagreb Fountains on 7 September starting at 19:00.
All other events will take place at Mladost Stadium on 8 September, starting at 17:30.
