The shot put event of the IAAF World Challenge Zagreb will be titled the Ivan Ivančić Memorial from this year on, in memory of Croatia’s best throwing coach, who passed on last year.
Some of the world’s best shot putters will appear by the Zagreb Fountains on Monday, 7 September, starting at 7 pm. The start list includes: Stipe Žunić, O’Dayne Richards, Christian Cantwell, Nedžad Mulabegović, Asmir Kolašinac, Tom Walsh, Marin Premeru, Kemal Mesić, Konrad Bukowiecki, Hamza Alić, Reese Hoffa, Tomasz Majewski, Ryan Whiting and Tim Nedow.[:]
