Two Olympic medallists will be jumping at the Ban Jelačić Square

As part of the Boris Hanžeković Memorial, the Zagreb City Challenge, an exciting long jump competition at the Ban Josip Jelačić Square, will be held again this year.

Judging by the provisional start list, the women’s long jump competition on Friday, September 6, will be a true spectacle, featuring world-class jumpers. Jasmine Moore, bronze medallist in long jump and triple jump at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with a long jump personal best of 7.03 meters, and Shanieka Ricketts, Paris triple jump silver medalist have confirmed their participation in Zagreb.

Also on the participant list for the Zagreb City Challenge are Paris Olympic long jump finalists Ackelia Smith and Alina Rotaru-Kottmann, as well as the Asian champion Sumire Hata and Balkan champion Milica Gardašević.

Zagreb City Challenge on September 6 starts at 5:30 PM.
